UN condemning resolution against Russia passed.

The United Nations General Assembly has adopted a resolution condemning Russia for occupying four regions of Ukraine. The proposal was passed on Wednesday (October 12) afternoon.


According to the international media BBC, 143 countries voted in favor of the condemnation resolution. Apart from this, 35 countries including India and China abstained from voting. However, four other countries including Russia, Belarus, North Korea, Syria, and Nigeria voted against the resolution.


The resolution called on the international community not to recognize any of Russia's claims of annexation. Also, it should be withdrawn immediately.

Meanwhile, after the condemnation resolution was passed, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he was grateful to the countries that supported it. He tweeted on social media that Ukraine will take back all its territories. Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden said about the condemnation proposal, the world has sent a clear message to Moscow through this condemnation proposal, that Russia cannot erase a sovereign map from the world map.


Last week in the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin included Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson in Ukraine through a signature.
