Zelensky reacts harshly to Elon Musk's peace proposal.

The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has reacted to the peace proposal made by Tesla CEO and the world's richest man Elon Musk to end the war in Ukraine. He called on the Ukrainian people to consider Elon's proposal.

According to RT, Zelensky is also conducting a public opinion poll on Twitter. In a Twitter post on Monday (October 3), he posed the question to his followers: Which Elon do they prefer, the pro-Ukraine or the pro-Russia one? But the majority of survey respondents support Elon's first position.

Last week, American technology entrepreneur Elon Musk announced a novel plan to end the Ukraine-Russia war. Elon said in a tweet that the regions of Ukraine occupied by Russia should hold a referendum again.

Since the West does not accept the results of the referendum held under Russia, this time it will be done under the United Nations. In this, the people of that area can freely choose whether they will go with Russia or with Ukraine. If Russia loses the vote, it will withdraw its troops.

Social media has been abuzz with debate over Elon's proposal for several days. The country's parliament has also participated in the debate, starting with President Zelensky. President Zelensky threw a question to everyone in a counter tweet and said, Which Elon Musk do you like? That Elon Musk supports Ukraine or that Elon Musk supports Russia.

Mykhailo Podoliak, an adviser to Zelensky, said peace is only possible if Russia returns all of Ukraine's territory, including Crimea, disbands the Russian army, destroys all its nuclear weapons, and prosecutes Russia for war crimes. The Ukrainian ambassador to Germany also criticized Elon Musk's proposal.

Not only Ukraine, but also European leaders did not stop criticizing Musk. Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said on Twitter, "If someone takes off the wheel of Elon Musk's Tesla, then he does not become the rightful owner of the wheel."

However, Elon is not putting too much effort into this. Responding to the criticism, he said in a tweet, "I don't think about who likes my opinion or not." This plan of mine can save millions of lives. The people of Donbas and Crimea should decide who they will be with.
